Flowers + Clay Workshop

This is an intimate hour-and-a-half workshop for new friends, lovers, or a gang of buddies wanting to get to know each other (and clay!) better. We will explore our inner artist by pressing florals and leaves into clay. Then shape the clay into a small dish to use for jewelry or soap. 

Each participant will receive 2 pounds of clay to create either a small plate and another object of choice or a few small trays. 

After the session, your creations will be fired in the kiln and glazed in a shiny white finish, which means the result will be a beautiful bright white color making your floral imprint stand out. 

What do I need to bring or prepare?

All materials, tools, and snacks are included in the workshop, just bring yourself and if you feel like it, a few images to be inspired by.

Working with clay can get a bit messy, so bring an apron or wear some old clothes. Having long nails might be frustrating for this workshop but it is doable with some patients. 

How many people is the booking for?

Although we encourage you to bring friends and dates, this is also a great opportunity to meet new people, so feel free to come alone too! For this reason, bookings are per person. Please note that Rumor is small and you will be sitting in close proximity to others. 

Your pieces will be ready for collection within 3 weeks of completing the workshop. We’ll send an email out to you as soon as they’re ready for pickup at Rumor. 

All sales are final and we cannot do returns however if you are unable to make it to the workshop you can transfer your purchase to a friend or family member.
